Yakubu Ibrahim holds several certificates from various institutions and courses attended some which includes Kaduna Polytechnic, Federal University of Technology, Informatics Institute, National Defense Academy as well as the University of Portmouth.
He is the current Managing Director of SheltercareFM Consult Ltd and had previous served as the Executive Director of Diginamics and the Managing Director of Extra Mile Synergy.
Yakubu Ibrahim is a member of some professional bodies including FCAI (Fellow Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria), MSEM (Member, Society of Engineering Management).

* Training of all National Assembly Legistrative aids - 2009
